This scene was for the both of our demo reels, so naturally it couldn’t be word for word the same as in the original work. That was my job. I had to edit dialogue to better suit our visual types, and shift the scene’s point a little. Once we got shooting there were even more challenges afoot. We had to shoot the scene in a classroom, but we had to make it look like a doctor’s office. Secondly, I had to look through the files I was handed, but make sure that each page was in the same spot every time for continuities sake. I look back on this scene fondly, for the challenges in filming that I don’t think were noticed in the final product. I think my scene partner did great work as well.
